Learning Center Supervisor/Teacher (full or part-time)
Job Overview
DLIGR is a small K-12 school with a unique blend of teacher-led learning and a fully developed, self-paced Christian curriculum, supplemented with tutor assistance. We are currently in need of (for the coming 2026/27 school year) a supervisor to join our team. The supervisor is responsible for the following:

Potential for in-person instruction within the applicant’s specific areas of expertise.

Operations of the multi-grade learning center(s); maintaining flow and environment, assisting monitors and other staff, collaboration with the school board, etc.

Oversees the function of the Learning Center including monitoring student progress, answering questions, and reviewing daily work goals of the students.

Collaborate with other supervisors and monitors to ensure the best learning outcome for each student.
This position can be either full-time (4-day school schedule) or part-time and shared with other supervisors. A teaching degree/certificate is helpful, but not required for this position.
Additional Responsibilities and Duties
This list of duties can be changed based upon the needs of the students, staff and board. However, a general outline of day-to-day responsibilities is provided below. For additional details, please reference the DLIGR Handbook.

Perform classroom opening each day with Scripture reading and prayer.

Observe, evaluate, and communicate regarding each student’s academic progress using the methods and tools provided by the school.

Maintain accurate and complete records as needed.

Maintain good classroom order and organization in accordance with the school Handbook.

Regularly communicate with parents

Help uphold the core values and beliefs of the school.

Teacher aide/Learning Center monitor (full or part-time)
Job Overview
We are also inviting applicants for a teacher aide/learning center monitor to join our team. The aide is responsible for the following:

Assist the Learning Center supervisors in daily learning center activities​
- Monitor student activities, supervise scoring, goal setting, homework progress, etc
- Assist during taught classes such as art and PE
- Recess supervision on rotation
- Potential for 1-on-1 or small group tutoring according to aide skills and student needs

This position can be either full-time (4-day school schedule) or part-time. Prior experience and education is helpful, but not required for this position.

Applicants must be versatile, dedicated, and willing to facilitate learning within a multi-grade setting. He/she will work under the supervision and guidance of the school board and contribute to a productive and structured learning environment according to and within the standards established by the board. Qualified candidates for these positions must be members of the NRC denomination, have a love for the truth according to God’s Word and the doctrine adhered to by the NRC, and display a lifestyle in accordance with the same.​
